Required clamping force

The clamping force of the pneumatic and hydraulic centre-clamping vise and compact vice depends on the operating pressure. The clamping force is regulated linearly by changing the pressure. The operating pressure to be set depends on influencing factors such as workpiece geometry, type of clamping jaws, material to be machined, machining conditions, etc. It may be necessary to adjust the operating pressure individually due to the influencing factors mentioned above.
